Fund Flow

Raise capital with confidence.

Integrations Setup

Fund Flow connects to seven external services to cover email, SMS, scheduling, e-signatures, bank verification, pitch deck creation, and payment processing. All integrations are managed under Settings > Integrations.

Gmail

Connect your Google account to send and receive emails directly inside Fund Flow without leaving the platform.

Setup

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Gmail.
  2. Click Connect Gmail Account.
  3. Complete the Google OAuth consent screen — grant permission for "Send email on your behalf" and "Read email metadata".
  4. Select the Google Workspace or Gmail account you use for investor communications.
  5. Click Confirm Connection.

Once connected, all emails sent from Fund Flow appear in your Gmail Sent folder, and incoming replies are threaded in the investor's contact record.

Note

Each operator user connects their own Gmail account. Connecting one user's account does not affect other team members.

Disconnecting

Go to Settings > Integrations > Gmail and click Disconnect. Existing email history in Fund Flow is retained; future emails will route through Fund Flow's default mailer until reconnected.

Twilio (SMS — A2P 10DLC)

Send individual and bulk SMS messages to investors using a dedicated business phone number registered under the A2P 10DLC framework required by US carriers.

Prerequisites

  • A Standard or Professional plan (Professional includes one free number; Standard requires a $15/mo number + $10/mo messaging fee).
  • A registered US business with an EIN (required for A2P 10DLC brand registration).

Setup

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Twilio.
  2. Click Start SMS Setup.
  3. Complete Brand Registration: Enter your legal business name, EIN, website, and business type. This is submitted to The Campaign Registry (TCR).
  4. Complete Campaign Registration: Describe your SMS use case (e.g., "Investor updates and deal announcements"). TCR review takes 1–5 business days.
  5. Once approved, click Provision Phone Number to claim your dedicated number.

Do not attempt to send bulk SMS before your campaign is approved. Unregistered messages will be filtered by carriers and may result in your number being blocked.

After Approval

Your phone number appears under Settings > Integrations > Twilio with status Active. You can now send SMS from any contact record or automation.

Cal.com

Sync your Cal.com scheduling links so investors can book calls directly from your public deal pages or email signatures.

Setup

  1. Log in to your Cal.com account and navigate to Settings > Developer > API Keys.
  2. Create a new API key with "Read/Write" access.
  3. In Fund Flow, go to Settings > Integrations > Cal.com.
  4. Paste your API key and click Connect.
  5. Select the event types (e.g., "30-min Investor Call") you want to surface in Fund Flow.

Once connected, a Book a Call button can be added to deal landing pages and email templates using the {{booking_link}} token.

Documenso (E-Signatures)

Documenso is Fund Flow's built-in e-signature layer — no separate account required. Subscription agreements, commitment letters, and other investor documents are signed directly within the investor portal.

How It Works

  • Documents generated from Fund Flow templates are automatically formatted for e-signature.
  • Investors receive a signing link via email and complete the process inside their portal.
  • Signed documents are stored in the deal's Documents tab with an audit trail.

Configuration

No API keys are needed. Enable the feature under Settings > Integrations > Documenso and toggle Enable E-Signatures to on.

Tip

You can upload custom PDF templates (e.g., your existing subscription agreement) and map signature fields using the document editor before enabling e-signatures.

Plaid (Bank Account Verification)

Use Plaid to verify investor bank accounts before processing ACH distributions or capital calls.

Setup

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Plaid.
  2. Click Enable Plaid Verification.
  3. Fund Flow uses its own Plaid credentials by default. If you have an existing Plaid account, click Use My Own Credentials and enter your client_id and secret from the Plaid Dashboard.

Investor Experience

When an investor adds a bank account in their portal, they complete a guided Plaid Link flow to authenticate their account. Verified accounts display a green checkmark in the operator's contacts view.

Note

Plaid bank verification is available on Standard and Professional plans.

Gamma (Pitch Deck Generation)

Connect Gamma to generate polished pitch decks from your deal data with one click.

Setup

  1. Create a free or paid Gamma account at gamma.app.
  2. In Gamma, go to Settings > API and copy your API key.
  3. In Fund Flow, go to Settings > Integrations > Gamma.
  4. Paste your Gamma API key and click Connect.

Generating a Deck

  1. Open a deal and click Generate Pitch Deck.
  2. Select a Gamma template or let Fund Flow choose the best match based on your asset class.
  3. The deck is created in your Gamma workspace and a shareable link is saved to the deal record.

Stripe (Payments & Billing)

Fund Flow uses Stripe to process subscription payments and, on Professional plans, to collect capital commitments and distributions via Stripe Connect.

Operator Billing

Your Fund Flow subscription is billed automatically through Stripe. No setup is required — billing is managed under Settings > Billing.

Stripe Connect (Capital Calls & Distributions)

To collect funds directly through Fund Flow rather than sending wire instructions:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Stripe.
  2. Click Set Up Stripe Connect and complete the Stripe onboarding flow (requires business verification, bank account, and SSN/EIN).
  3. Once approved, a Pay Now button appears on investor commitment records, allowing ACH or card payments.

Stripe Connect onboarding involves identity verification by Stripe. Approval typically takes 1–2 business days. Fund Flow cannot expedite this process.

Frequently Asked Questions
